PRODUCT REVIEW: 20 Pounds in 10 Days....Is it possible?

I decided that I wanted to post my review on a program I bought over a year ago. I had the e-book on my computer and I just want to post some much needed information. Before you decide to go out and buy it, let me give you my review on it and you can make your assumptions from my expirence.

Over a year ago, me and my two sisters decided that we needed to lose weight because we all know that being over weight is not that healthy so we took measures in our own hands and I decided to purchase an e-book called 20 pounds in 10 days. Even though it sounded too good to be true, I was still curious. What if it were true? So we stuck to the plan.

On day one we ate:

  • Breakfast-a slice of whole wheat toast, 1/2 of grapfruit and a teaspoon of peanutbutter.
  • Lunch-Slice of wheat toast, a can of tuna and a cup of prune juice (YUCK!!!)
  • Dinner-4 oz grilled chicken breast (we put a tsp of garlic and a pinch of lemon juice to give it flavor)1/2 cup of fresh hand-picked boiled string beans, and a small apple.

We also drank no less than 8 glasses of water a day. When we were extra hungry, we would eat a healthy snack like an apple or rasins.

The first day was very hard and we ended up quiting the program around day 8 or nine. So close huh?

***********************************The Results*************************************

  • I lost 6 pounds
  • Sister #1 Lost 10 pounds
  • Sister #2 Lost 10 pounds

We did not lose the weight that was claimed when I purchased this program, however, I thougth that we did lose a lot of weight for the amount of time we were on the program. The down side is that the weight-loss wasn't permanent for us and we ended up gaining it right back because we were so deprived of the foods we liked. I would suggest this program only if you want to lose some quick weight for a special event. Other than that, if you are looking for permanent resulst, don't waste your time with this one.

  • There's Always Going to Be Ignorant People in the World

Hey guys, you know, I recently started this page so that I can record my weightloss goals and inspire others to do the same but it seems recently my efforts have been accused of advertising. First and foremost, I have been overweight for years and I understand the embarassment and shame when you can't do the things you want and wear the clothes you like. I truly understand and been there. I joined a weightloss forum (I care not to disclose that information here) but my intent was to let others know what worked for me. Instead of getting positive feedback, I received a couple of negative comments and I really didn't appreciate. I felt violated and disrespected. I didn't realize that there are still people out there in the world that are just ready to crush and smash whatever hope that's left in a person. These people are cruel and I do not associate myself with this kind of company. I will not let this type of negative energy get me down but instead I will standfast and continue to help others reach their goals. Feel free to leave me a message about this topic. I am higly disturbed.
